for more than forty years the Friends of McLean Park and House managed McLean House on behalf of the city of West Linn. The nonprofit volunteers and staff restored and maintained the house interiors, provided period-appropriate furnishings, and facilitated public access to the home for a wide variety of events. Volunteers also improved the gardens, taken the grounds from a very overgrown rough condition to a a beautiful park with pathways, lawn areas, location for a 30×60 tent, gazebo, and potting shed.
