What a fun event! Friends and neighbors brought their favorite cookies, kids made crafts and everyone sang old-timey holiday tunes including a rowdy rendition of Twelve Days of Christmas. Join us for Earth Day Volunteer event and yard clean up

Neighbors and volunteers joined Friends of McLean Park & House to celebrate the holidays with cookies, cider and caroling.  The kids decorated cookies, and we all ate FAR too many cookies.  Photos taken in front of the festive Christmas tree will be posted in the West Linn Tiding's holiday greeting.  

  Volunteers joined a local Girl Scout in planting a native garden at McLean House, to qualify for her Gold Award.  Grace planned the entire event, designed the native garden, and negotiated with local companies for support.  Our wonderful Bosky Dell Natives nursery advised on plant materials which we purchased for a very reasonable price.  The garden was completed in...

Every Year Friends of McLean Park and House host a neighborhood cookie exchange.  The evening includes singing (hilarious) holiday songs, children's games, and of course cookies, hot cider, and mulled wine.  The group and individual photos taken at the event are featured in the West Linn Tidings holiday greetings issue.

McLean House hosted a successful local art and garden event. Everything from paintings to garden sculptures, handmade soaps, and re-purposed furniture was featured, and a children's gardening project was hosted by the Bordens.

Friends gathered for an evening of entertainment, with interactive mystery theater provided by New Century Players. Dinner was wonderful, the auction a huge success. Fun had by all!
